East West University Economics Club celebrates a decade with NatEcon 2.0

East West University Economics Club marked its 10th anniversary with “Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Presents NatEcon 2.0 – Envision. Innovate. Exhibit,” a night filled with intellectual discourse, celebration, and music. The event brought together students, faculty, and distinguished guests for an evening highlighting economic innovation and cultural vibrancy.

Professor Dr. Muhammad Farashuddin, founder vice chancellor of East West University and former governor of Bangladesh Bank, shared insights on economic progress. Dr. Muntasir Chaudhury, founding moderator of the club, reflected on its decade-long journey, while Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, managing director and CEO of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC, emphasized the role of young minds in shaping the future of economic thought.

Following the discussions, the much-anticipated Cultural Evening electrified the atmosphere. The band Aftermath set the stage ablaze with their energetic performance, engaging the audience in a wave of excitement. As ARK took over, nostalgia swept through the crowd, with attendees singing along to their iconic hits. The night became a shared experience of music, unity, and celebration.
