Team Jonmobhumi Othoba Mrittu emerged victorious today in the July Memorial Debate Competition 2025, organised by the Bangladesh Agricultural University Debating Shongho (BAUDS). The competition was held in commemoration of the July Revolution of 2024.

Eight teams, each comprising four members from the debating shongho, participated in the event. The highly anticipated final round saw Jonmobhumi Othoba Mrittu face off against the team Desh Ta Karor Baper Na in a spirited debate.Nahian Abrar Omio was recognised as the best debater of the competition for his outstanding performance.

Professor Dr Md Shahidul Haque, Student Affairs Advisor at BAU, graced the prize-giving ceremony as the chief guest, commending the participants for their eloquence and critical thinking.
