Comilla University to hold second convocation on 7 December

The second convocation of Comilla University will be held on 7 December 2025, the university authorities announced.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mohammad Haider Ali told BSS that students who graduated between the 2014–15 and 2019–20 academic years will be eligible to participate.
Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan, Interim Government Adviser to the Ministries of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, Road Transport and Bridges, and the Ministry of Railways, will attend the event as the chief guest, representing the President of the Republic.
The university held its first convocation on 27 January 2020, which included students of the 2013–14 session. This year’s convocation will include graduates from the 2014–15 to 2019–20 academic years. However, as pharmacy students require five years to complete their degree, graduates of the 2019–20 academic year in that department will not be included.
Pro-VC Prof Dr Masuda Kamal said, “We have just received permission for the convocation, but the list of participants is yet to be finalised.”
