Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) has published its Admission Notice for Undergraduate Programs for the 2026 session. Applications are invited from Bangladeshi citizens who have passed the HSC/GCE ‘A’ Level or Equivalent Examination (Science Group) for admission in Engineering and Architecture programmes.

Application Submission and Shortlisting:

• Online Application Submission Begins: 02 November 2025 at 11:00 am.
• Online Application Submission Ends: 26 November 2025 at 23:59 pm.
• Shortlist of Examinees to be Published: 15 December 2025.
• Procedure: Application must be submitted online through the MIST website only. After successful submission, the applicant will receive a USER ID online. The applicant then needs to send an SMS to 16222 from a Teletalk pre-paid mobile phone with the required balance using the USER ID. On successful completion of payment, a password will be received via SMS. Eligible applicants will use the password to download and print the Admit Card.
• Admission Form Fee: Tk 1200 (Engineering) or Tk 1400 (Engineering + Architecture).
• Hardcopy Submission for GCE or Equivalent Applicants: An attested copy of the Transcript/Certificate must be submitted to the MIST Admission Office by 30 November 2025 (2:00 pm) for authentication/verification.

Admission Test Schedule:

• Admission Test Date: 27 December 2025 (Saturday).
• Unit A (Engineering and Architecture): 10:00 am to 01:00 pm.
  • Subjects: Mathematics (80 marks), Physics (60 marks), Chemistry (40 marks), and English (20 marks), totalling 200 marks.
• Unit B (Architecture): 03:00 pm to 05:00 pm.
  • Subject: Freehand drawing and Visual-Spatial Intelligence (200 marks).
• Note: Architecture applicants need to appear in the examinations of both Unit A and Unit B. The minimum qualifying mark in the written test is 40% for both Unit A and Unit B separately.

Special Note (Qualifications to Apply):

• SSC or Equivalent: Applicants must have passed in 2023 or 2022 in the Science Group, obtaining a minimum GPA 4.00 (without the fourth subject) on a scale of 5.00.
• HSC or Equivalent: Applicants must have passed in 2025 or 2024, obtaining a minimum total Grade Point 18 in four subjects (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English) with a minimum Grade Point of 4.0 in each of Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
• Biomedical Engineering Interest: Applicants interested in Biomedical Engineering must have Biology in the HSC or equivalent level with a minimum grade point of ‘A minus’/ GCE ‘A’ or equivalent level with a minimum grade point of ‘C’ or equivalent.
• GCE (‘O’ and ‘A’ Levels) or Equivalent:
  • ‘O’ Level: Passed in 2023 or 2022 with a minimum ‘B’ grade or equivalent in any five subjects, including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English.
  • ‘A’ Level: Passed in 2025 or 2024 with a minimum of three ‘B’ grades or equivalent in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
