The two-day Inter-School RoboCon X TechFest began on Friday (6 February) with a vibrant and engaging opening day, featuring a nearly 10-hour programme centred on artificial intelligence, innovation, and student-led creativity.
Day one of the festival featured a range of intellectually stimulating segments, including Vibe Coding, Ideathon, Tech Quiz and Trivia, and Tech Roast Court. Interactive games and entertainment sessions were also incorporated into the schedule, keeping participants engaged and energised throughout the day.
Organised by the Maple Leaf International School Robotics Club, RoboCon X TechFest marks the institution’s first-ever inter-school technology festival. The event has drawn enthusiastic participation from students representing multiple institutions, including schools from outside Dhaka, creating a diverse platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange.
The organisers noted that the strong turnout and active engagement on the opening day reflect growing interest among school students in emerging technologies and innovation-driven learning. The first day successfully set the tone for forward-looking discussions and hands-on exploration of technological ideas.
The event is being supported by media partners The Business Standard, Bonik Barta, and Channel i.
The closing ceremony of RoboCon X TechFest will be held this evening.
