The ULAB Sustainable Development Club organised a wellness session titled “Know Your Mind & Body: Dive Deep with SDG 3” as part of ULAB Earth Day 2026 on April 20, aligning with the global focus on United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3 on good health and well-being.

The session was conducted by nutrition and lifestyle coach Nayma Hasan, who led an interactive discussion centred on holistic health, mindful habits, and maintaining a balance between physical and mental well-being.

The programme began with a reflective discussion encouraging participants to reconsider common perceptions of health. Through open dialogue, the speaker addressed widespread misconceptions around nutrition and lifestyle choices, while also highlighting everyday health challenges faced by young people. Practical, accessible solutions were shared to help participants adopt healthier routines in their daily lives.

Participants remained actively engaged throughout the session, contributing to a dynamic learning environment focused on awareness and self-reflection.

A key highlight of the event was an interactive workout segment, where attendees took part in light physical exercises, reinforcing the importance of regular movement as a core component of a healthy lifestyle. The session also featured discussions on nutrition, conscious food choices, and sustainable habits that support long-term well-being.

The programme received positive feedback from participants for its practical and engaging approach, effectively combining knowledge-sharing with hands-on experience. As the opening segment of ULAB Earth Day 2026, the session set the tone for a broader series of initiatives aimed at promoting sustainability, well-being, and responsible living within the university community.
