This year’s edition saw participation from more than 1,600 students representing 46 universities across the country. After progressing through multiple competitive rounds, the top teams advanced to the final stage, where they presented strategic solutions to a real-world business case before an expert panel.

The judging panel included Shamima Akhter of Unilever Bangladesh Limited, Husne Ara Shikha of Bangladesh Bank, and Ziaur Rahman of H&M Bangladesh.
Following a highly competitive finale, Team Six Seven from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) emerged as the champion. Team Arctic Wolves from North South University (NSU) secured the 1st runner-up position, while Team Rotten MARS from BUP finished as 2nd runner-up.
The champion team received a trophy and BDT 200,000 and will represent Bangladesh at the global finale in Hong Kong. The 1st runner-up received BDT 100,000 and the 2nd runner-up received BDT 50,000, along with trophies.
Addressing the audience, Sarah Cooke said, “Education is a cornerstone of the UK–Bangladesh partnership. Strong collaboration between academia and industry will help build the skilled workforce Bangladesh needs for the future.”
Mahmud Hasan Khan noted that such competitions play a vital role in preparing future leaders, particularly as industries like the ready-made garment sector adapt to global demands.
Speaking on the occasion, Mahbub ur Rahman, CEO of HSBC Bangladesh, highlighted the importance of bridging academic knowledge with real-world application, stating that the competition equips students with a global mindset.
Mohammad Mujibul Haque, Dean of BRAC Business School, emphasised the role of business case competitions in strengthening experiential learning and fostering industry-academia collaboration.
