NUSDF Bangladesh has been recognised at the “Vocational Excellence Award 2026” held on the occasion of the 50th anniversary celebration of the Rotary Club of Dhaka North West. The organisation received the honour in the institutional category for its significant contribution to community economic development.

The award was received on behalf of NUSDF Bangladesh by its Founder and President, Riaz Hossain, along with his team.

The grand ceremony was organised by the Rotary Club of Dhaka North West to mark five decades of humanitarian service and social development activities. A total of five individuals and one organisation were recognised across different categories for their impactful contributions to society.

Chief Guest of the event, Mansur Ahmed Chowdhury, Chairman of the Trustee Board of Transparency International Bangladesh, presented the awards jointly with the club’s President and Secretary.

Other award recipients included:

  • Peace Building Category: Junaid Paikar, Founder President of BCSAA
  • Education and Literature Category: Masroor Hannan, Founder of Jadupisci
  • Environmental Conservation Category: Ahsan Rony, Executive Director of Mission Green Bangladesh
  • Sanitation and Hygiene Category: Dr Md Arifur Rahman, Founder of YPSA

Speakers at the event stated that the award reflects Rotary’s principle of “Service Above Self”, recognising individuals and organisations contributing to positive social change.

The ceremony was presided over by the Club President, Md Abdur Rahim Chowdhury, while the award segment was chaired by Muhammad Altamish Nabil. The programme concluded with a group photo session involving all guests and award recipients.

As one of the leading Rotary clubs in the country, the Rotary Club of Dhaka North West has been playing a vital role for the past 50 years in humanitarian service, youth development, and various social initiatives.
