Mustansiriyah University offering 465 scholarship in different disciplines; 265 undergraduate, 124 MSc. and 76 PhD.

Scholarship Details

• Accepted applicants will receive a full scholarship covering tuition fees.
• The scholarship does not include Iraqi residing outside Iraqi or foreigners who work with Iraqi government.
• Registration begins on 15 March 2023 and end on 1 July 2023 on the following electronic link : https://cc.uomustansiriyah.edu.iq/scholarship/
• Scholarships and cultural relations Dept. will finalize the paper work of candidates and inform the involved departments.
• University council will approves the accepted candidates.
• The departments of student affairs and postgraduate studies will issuing the acceptance and graduation’s University orders then the dept. of scholarships and cultural relations will notify the involved authorities.

Study Duration
Doctoral programme (PhD): 2 semesters and 2 years by research (36 months) or minimum period (30 months).
Masters studies (MSc): 2 semesters and 1 year by research (24 months) or minimum period (18 months).
Undergraduate study (BSc): 4 years for all studies with the exception of Medicine (6 years), Dentistry (5 years), Pharmacy (5 years), and Architecture (5 years).
Study for all Bachelor, Masters, and Doctoral programmes are full time study with attendance of the student.

Academic requirements for apply

For Undergraduate study (BSc)

1. The minimum grades for admission is in line with the grades of the foreign student guide : a. Medicine (85%), Dentistry and Pharmacy (75%). b. Engineering and Nursing (65%). c. Other scientific and Humanitarian studies (60%).
2. The applicant’s age must not exceed (30) years as of (1 October 2023).

Supervision Requirements: Students should be obligate to the supervision requirements and policy of MOHESR.

Graduation Requirements

1. Students should be obligate to the Graduation requirements and policy of MOHESR.
2. Student should publish one manuscript for MSc. Study and at least two papers (manuscript) in reputable journals within Scopus or Clarivate, Mustansiriyah University must be mention as the affiliation of the student.

Important dates

1. The online application portal will be open on 15 Mar 2023.

3. Announcing the scholarship acceptance results on 15 Jul 2023.
4. Registration for accepted students must be completed according to the University calendar.

Student must complete

1. The student must provide :
   A. Graduation certificates authenticated by MOFA and the Iraqi Embassy or the Cultural attache at his country.
   B. Passport valid for 2 years starting from 1/10/2023.
   C. Project proposal.
   D. 2 recommendations from Professors in same field of study.
   E. Residency and any other documents the University ask for.
   F. None-conviction and medical certificates.
   G. The student must signs an agreement.
2. The student is responsible for convert the High school scores and grades to the percentage (100%) grades and stamped by governmental body for BSc study.
3. The accepted student must sign a scholarship agreement with the College.
4. Student MUST NOT APPLY for more than one study, otherwise his application will be decline.
5. The accepted student will be provided with an official letter of acceptance of Mustansiriyah University scholarship for the purposes of applying for the entry and residence visa (student visa).
6. Visa and residency approval arrangements are made by the student and our University does not bear the fees for entry visa, accommodation, air fares or any other financial fees.
7. The candidate must apply for an entry visa and residence through the Iraqi Embassy in the applicant’s country.
