The Department of Political Science at the University of Dhaka has announced admissions for its Professional Master in Governance Studies programme. Programme Overview

The 18-month programme is designed to accommodate the schedules of working professionals, featuring classes held every Friday and Saturday. It offers a practice-oriented learning environment where students can interact with esteemed scholars and practitioners while connecting theoretical frameworks to real-world policy challenges.

Eligibility and Selection

To be eligible for the programme, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum CGPA of 2.5, or an equivalent second-class degree.

The admission selection process consists of a test covering the following components:

• MCQ: 55 Marks
• Written: 20 Marks (Bangla & English Paragraph)
• Viva: 10 Marks
• Previous academic certificate and job experience: 15 Marks
