BRAC University is accepting applications for its Master of Education in Educational Leadership and School Improvement (MEd) programme. This professional development curriculum is expertly designed to elevate the capacities of education professionals across key domains, including leadership and management, academic research, pedagogy, school improvement, advanced communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
The programme runs on a flexible, modular system and is delivered via a blended learning modality (70% online classes and 30% in-person classes at the BRAC University main campus).
Programme Structure
Candidates can choose between two distinct postgraduate pathways based on their career objectives:
- Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Educational Leadership and School Improvement: 10 courses | 27 credits | Duration: 18 months
- Master of Education (MEd) in Educational Leadership and School Improvement: 10 courses + a 9-credit dissertation | 36 credits | Duration: 24 months
Minimum Eligibility Criteria
Prospective students must meet the following academic standards to be eligible for admission:

| SSC / Equivalent & HSC / Equivalent | Minimum GPA 2.5 or 2nd Class/Division in SSC and HSC separately (inclusive of additional subjects). |
| O-Level & A-Level | O-Level: Minimum 5 subjects. A-Level: Minimum 2 subjects. Minimum GPA 2.5 across O-Level and A-Level separately (Scale: A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1. A maximum of one ‘E’ grade is acceptable). |
| Bachelor’s Degree | Minimum 15 years of formal education with at least a 2nd Class or a minimum CGPA of 2.5 out of 4.0 (or equivalent) from any government-authorised university. |
Important Note: Possessing only Foundation and General Education Development (GED) courses does not satisfy the requirements for admission.
Admission Assessment
- Interview Component: For this intake, selection is interview-based. All eligible applicants are required to sit for a formal viva/interview to assess their suitability and English language proficiency for the program.
