The Department of Population Sciences at the University of Dhaka has released its admission announcement for the 18-month Professional Master of Population Health (MPH) programme for the July 2026 intake.
This weekend-based programme is structured to accommodate both local and international professionals looking to advance their expertise in population health.
Programme Features
- Duration: 18 months.
- Class Schedule: Weekend classes held on Fridays (3:00 PM to 7:15 PM) and Saturdays (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM).
Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Open to both Bangladeshi and foreign nationals.
- Academic Qualifications: Applicants must hold at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a recognised university or college (including medical, dental, nursing, engineering, and agricultural institutions).
- Degree (Pass) Applicants: A prior master’s degree is compulsory for those with a Degree (Pass). Candidates who already possess a master’s degree are also eligible to apply.
- Appeared Candidates: Students awaiting their final Bachelor’s degree results may apply, provided they submit their certificate or marksheet within 3 days of the written admission test. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of their candidature.
- Ineligibility: Candidates with a Third Division/Class or a GPA/CGPA below 2.50 at any level of their academic career are not eligible to apply.
