NSU to host Health Fest 2026 with inter-university competitions and Tk120,000 prize pool
Health Fest 2026, one of Bangladesh’s largest university-based public health festivals, will be organised by the NSU Public Health & Sciences Club (NSU PHSC) in collaboration with the Department of Public Health at North South University.
Presented by United Healthcare and co-sponsored by Southeast Bank PLC, the festival aims to promote innovation, creativity and awareness in healthcare and public health.
The event will bring together students from universities across Bangladesh and feature an inter-university case study competition, poster presentation competition, photography and videography competition, a 5K run and a yoga session. Free medical check-up booths will also be available to promote preventive healthcare and community well-being.
A key attraction will be a roundtable discussion featuring healthcare professionals from United Hospital, focusing on current healthcare challenges, innovations and future opportunities. The organisers also expect the event to be inaugurated by the Health Minister, alongside other distinguished guests from the healthcare, academic and policymaking sectors.
The festival offers a total prize pool of Tk120,000, providing participants with an opportunity to showcase their analytical, research, communication and creative skills while engaging with healthcare professionals, academics and fellow students.
Through the event, the organisers aim to encourage the next generation of public health leaders and promote meaningful discussions on healthcare, innovation and community well-being.
