Students from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Southeast University secured championship titles in two categories at the Techathon Nationals & Rover Summit 2026, organised by the IUT Robotics Society.

Team 2R.JS won the Hackathon segment. The team comprised Ferdous Hasan Rahid (CSE 64), Rukaiya Sultana (CSE 64), Jihadul Islam (CSE 64) and Sanzida Islam (CSE 64).

In the Poster Presentation segment, Team The Outliers claimed the championship title. The team included Abdullah Rahman (CSE 62), Sanzida Islam (CSE 64) and Rukaiya Sultana (CSE 64).

The competition brought together participants from universities across Bangladesh. The Southeast University teams were recognised for their technical expertise, innovative solutions, research capabilities and teamwork.

The university said the achievements reflect the Department of Computer Science and Engineering’s emphasis on research, innovation and practical learning, while reinforcing Southeast University’s growing presence in national technology competitions.

Southeast University congratulated the winning teams and wished them continued success in their future academic and professional pursuits.
