American Founders Museum Exhibition opens at ULAB
The American Founders Museum Exhibition has opened at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB), commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States.
The exhibition was inaugurated on 17 August at the D Building lobby of ULAB’s permanent campus and will remain open until 5 September. It was jointly organised by ULAB, the US Embassy Dhaka and the EMK Center, according to a press release.
Following the inauguration, US Embassy Dhaka Deputy Director of Public Engagement Richard Bruner conducted an interactive session with students.
In his opening remarks, Richard Bruner highlighted the significance of the exhibition and stressed the importance of understanding the history, culture and enduring values that have shaped the United States.
He also engaged with students and shared insights into the exhibition and its historical significance.
ULAB Vice Chancellor Prof Shamsad Mortuza, PhD, welcomed the initiative and emphasised the importance of providing students with opportunities to engage with international cultural and historical perspectives.
Deans of different schools, heads of departments and offices, faculty members and students of ULAB attended the event.
Representatives from the US Embassy Dhaka and the EMK Center were also present.
The exhibition offers students, faculty members and visitors an opportunity to explore the history and founding of the United States.
