IDP roadshow offers Dhaka students direct access to 80+ universities in five countries
The IDP Study World Roadshow has connected Bangladeshi students with representatives from more than 80 universities across five international study destinations.
The event was held on 29 August at the InterContinental Dhaka, according to a press release.
Participating universities represented the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Malaysia and Ireland.
Students spoke directly with university representatives and received guidance on selecting subjects, institutions and cities.
They also discussed accommodation, scholarships, tuition fees and part-time employment opportunities.
The event sought to bring information usually gathered from multiple sources into a single venue, simplifying the decision-making process for prospective international students.
An IELTS on Computer masterclass was also held during the roadshow, allowing students to familiarise themselves with the computer-delivered test format.
The event introduced IDP Community, a global platform connecting prospective students with current and former international students.
Users can ask questions about university applications, arrival procedures and campus life through the platform, which is available on IDP’s website and Fast Lane app.
IDP Education provides international education services and connects students with universities in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand and Malaysia.
