Stamford University hosts Career Expo 2026 with 1,000+ job, internship opportunities
Hundreds of students gathered at Stamford University Bangladesh today (3 October) for Career Expo 2026, which brought together more than 40 companies offering over 1,000 job and internship opportunities across various sectors.
The university’s Career Counselling and Placement Centre organised the daylong event in collaboration with JCI Dhaka Diplomats, JCI Dhaka Heritage and JCI Dhaka Impact, according to the press release.
The expo connected young job seekers with local, international and multinational employers, alongside career experts. The organisers described it as one of the university’s largest career-focused initiatives in recent years.
Stamford University Bangladesh Board of Trustees Chairman Professor Dr Farahnaaz Feroz and Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Sharif Nafe As-Saber formally inaugurated the event.
Representatives of the participating companies joined university officials, faculty members and students at the opening ceremony.
Students visited recruitment booths across the campus from the morning, submitting CVs for jobs and internships.
Many spoke directly with human resources professionals and corporate representatives about recruitment procedures, required skills, workplace expectations and potential career paths.
Alongside opportunities to apply for positions, the expo gave students first-hand insights into employers’ expectations and the demands of the current job market.
