Jahangirnagar University Science Club (JUSC) is set to organise the 12th JUSC National Math Olympiad 2026 on 6 November, bringing together school and college students to test their mathematical knowledge, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.

The event will also feature the Rubik’s Cube Championship 2026, with the opening ceremony scheduled to take place at Jahir Raihan Auditorium at Jahangirnagar University.

The National Math Olympiad will comprise 50 questions designed to assess participants’ mathematical understanding and analytical abilities. The first- and second-place winners will receive prizes based on their performance.

The Rubik’s Cube Championship will be divided into two categories. Category A is open to students in Classes 6–8, while Category B is for students in Classes 9–12. Students from both Bangla-medium and English-medium institutions will be eligible to participate.

Jahangirnagar University School & College has been designated as the venue for the Rubik’s Cube Championship, according to the organisers’ announcement.

Under the slogan “See Beyond the Equation, Discover a New Dimension”, JUSC aims to encourage students to explore mathematical concepts, strengthen their logical reasoning and approach challenges creatively.

The event is expected to attract students from Savar and educational institutions across Dhaka. Through the initiative, JUSC seeks to promote mathematical education, foster intellectual curiosity and provide students with an opportunity to showcase their abilities in a competitive environment.
