Requirements
Education: The candidate must have BSc in Agriculture with minimum CGPA 2.5 or 2nd division/ class or equivalent result in all academic examinations
Experience: At least 3 years

  • Age, education and experience will be relaxed for the potential candidates
  • Must have seed preservation and processing knowledge in the cold storage
  • Able to advice the subordinate staff for development
  • Able to make favorable working environment and good relationship with the colleagues

Responsibilities & Context

  • Take proper steps to justify the selected new block and land
  • Take proper initiative to control quality of different class of potato, maize and wheat seed during harvesting and seed distribution
  • Guide staff for ensuring quality seed production of different classes of seeds like potato, maize and wheat
  • Supervise and monitor of different classes of potato, maize and wheat seed production and subordinate activities
  • Develop the staff technical skill by providing scope of practical learning and counseling time to time to improve capacity of the subordinate
  • Take proper steps of GOT implementation of potato and maize seed
  • Visit cold storage located in different area and prepare fort night report
  • Communicate with supervisor according to program needs and submit different reports and other related documents timely
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
  • Perform any other tasks as and when required
