The American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) has garnered significant acclaim in the 2024 World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI), maintaining its stellar performance over the past two years.
WURI, renowned for assessing universities based on their real-world impact rather than traditional academic metrics, praised AIUB for its innovative contributions across various sectors. AIUB’s achievements this year are notable: ranked 121st among the Global Top 300 Innovative Universities, 3rd in Generative AI Application (A7), 16th in Infrastructure/Technology (B3), and 35th in Industrial Application (A3). The competition was fierce, with WURI evaluating 2,916 innovation cases from 1,072 universities worldwide, a substantial increase from the previous year.
