Bangladesh’s Team Atlas, led by Sunny Jubayer, won the Entrepreneurship Challenge at RoboRAVE Osaka 2026 in Japan, becoming world champion.

The international robotics and innovation competition was held from 10 to 12 August at the Osaka International Convention Centre, also known as Grand Cube Osaka, according to a press release.

The event brought together innovators from 19 countries—Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Egypt, Greece, Japan, Macau, Mexico, the Philippines, Poland, Singapore, Slovakia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Tunisia and the US.

The Entrepreneurship Challenge evaluated competing teams on technological innovation, practical problem-solving, and strategic business vision.

Under Jubayer’s leadership, Team Atlas secured the top position with its presentation, technical skills, and solutions, bringing the championship title home to Bangladesh.

“We are incredibly proud to represent Bangladesh and bring the world championship title home,” Team Atlas said in a victory statement, adding a direct note of celebration.
