Sir FAA

BRAC University marked the birth anniversary of its founder, Fazle Hasan Abed, through a vibrant cultural celebration on campus, bringing together students, faculty members, and staff in tribute to his enduring legacy.

The event was organised by the university’s Communications Office and featured a series of performances reflecting the values and vision championed by Sir Fazle Hasan Abed.

Two of the university’s leading cultural organisations, BRAC University Cultural Club (BUCuC) and BRAC University Monon, actively participated in the programme. The event included a blend of dance and musical performances, along with poetry recitations that paid homage to themes of humanity, resilience, and social progress.

Students showcased their artistic talents through thoughtfully curated performances, creating an atmosphere that was both reflective and celebratory. The recitation segment, in particular, resonated strongly with the audience, highlighting compassion, service, and social responsibility, values that defined Sir Abed’s lifelong work.

The programme served not only as a tribute to Sir Fazle Hasan Abed’s contributions but also as a reminder for the university community to carry forward his vision of building a more equitable and inclusive society.
