BRACU graduate appointed as OXIO rapporteur
A graduate from BRAC University’s School of Law has been appointed as a Rapporteur for Oxford International Organisations (OXIO), a prestigious platform under Oxford Public International Law. This appointment marks a significant achievement in his academic career and further enhances Bangladesh’s growing influence in international research communities.
Having completed his undergraduate degree in 2024 with exceptional academic results, he is currently pursuing a triple master’s programme funded by Erasmus Mundus across multiple European universities. His studies focus on international law, global governance, peace, development, and human rights.
In his new role at OXIO, he will provide valuable academic commentary that supports scholarly discussions among experts, practitioners, and policymakers. His contributions will address key global challenges such as environmental governance, human rights systems, and institutional reforms, in collaboration with renowned international researchers.
Despite the rigorous selection process, which initially appeared daunting due to stringent eligibility criteria, he approached the opportunity with confidence, backed by his solid research experience and published academic work. He stressed that one should not shy away from opportunities simply because of perceived limitations.
His academic portfolio includes a number of publications in well-regarded international journals and platforms, which greatly strengthened his application for the role.
