Chittagong University Model United Nations Association (CUMUNA) has won the Outstanding Delegation Award at BUPI MUN 2026, organised by the Bangladesh University of Professionals Global Affairs Council.

The delegation also secured eight individual recognitions, including one Outstanding Correspondent Award from the United Nations News Agency (UNNA) and seven Special Mentions across six committees.

In addition to the awards, four members of CUMUNA’s Governing Board served on the executive boards of different committees, while alumnus Mizanur Rahman Khan served as Speaker of the JASA committee.

The achievement highlights CUMUNA’s participation in Model United Nations and its efforts to develop students’ skills in diplomacy, international affairs and leadership.
