Daffodil International University has achieved the highest ranking among Bangladeshi universities and secured the 87th position globally in the Times Higher Education Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026, placing it in the world’s top 100 for its contributions to sustainable development, social impact, and international partnerships.

The rankings evaluated 1,603 universities worldwide, measuring their progress against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Daffodil International University secured the top position among public and private universities in Bangladesh, marking a milestone in the country’s higher education sector’s international recognition.

The university also ranked fourth globally in Sustainable Development Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, underscoring its strength in international collaboration, knowledge exchange, and global engagement.

Additionally, Daffodil International University ranked 12th globally for Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, 48th for Sustainable Development Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and 68th for Sustainable Development Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities.

These achievements demonstrate the university’s sustained commitment to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals through education, research, innovation, community engagement, and international collaboration.

The recognition further consolidates Daffodil International University’s position as a leading sustainability-focused higher education institution in Bangladesh and South Asia.
