The Marketing and International Business Club of North South University (NSU MIBC) hosted the first workshop of MarXcellence 2026, bringing together more than 800 participants from across Bangladesh alongside international participants.

Held at the NSU campus on Friday, 10 July, the workshop was also streamed live via Google Meet for international participants, according to a press release.

Dhaka Bank PLC is the presenting partner of MarXcellence 2026, with Transcom Group as co-sponsor and Vatika Naturals as powered-by partner.

The workshop featured Dhaka Bank PLC Assistant Vice President Rayhan Kawsar; Dhaka Bank PLC Head of Cash Management Unit and Executive Vice President Mosleh Saad Mahmud; and LUX, Unilever Bangladesh Ltd Senior Brand Manager Mohammed Maheer Tazoer.

The speakers shared practical insights into digital marketing, branding and strategic business problem-solving through interactive discussions with participants.

NSU MIBC Faculty Advisor Afrida Masnoon also attended the workshop and encouraged participants to view challenges as opportunities for growth.

MarXcellence 2026 is being held under the leadership of the NSU MIBC Executive Body 2025–26, comprising President Tanvir Anjum Rakin, General Secretary Isha Bin Mahmud Mahi, Treasurer Srijan Banik, Vice President Lamia Binte Islam, Joint Secretary of Creative and Internal Affairs SM Rafsan Mashrur, Joint Secretary of Publications Syeda Saniha Zarin, and Joint Secretary of Logistics Syed Yusuf Tehami Quadry.

The workshop was organised as part of what the organisers described as Bangladesh’s largest international inter-university digital marketing case competition.

Participants were introduced to the competition framework, judging criteria, case-solving techniques and strategic approaches to addressing real-world marketing challenges.

The session also allowed participants to interact with the organising team, gain practical insights and seek clarification on different aspects of the competition.
