International School Dhaka (ISD) has appointed Dr Mike Miller as its new director, bringing an experienced international educator to lead the school’s next phase of development.

Dr Miller has more than two decades of experience in academic leadership, school governance, strategic planning and international accreditation. Throughout his career, he has worked across seven countries in a range of education systems, gaining extensive experience in international education.

He is also actively involved with the International Baccalaureate (IB) community, having served as an IB Evaluation Leader, Programme Evaluator, Workshop Leader and consultant, supporting schools around the world.

Commenting on his appointment, Dr Miller said, “I’m honoured to join International School Dhaka. This is a school with a strong reputation for quality international education, and I’m looking forward to working closely with our faculty, students and families. Together, we’ll build on what ISD has already achieved and continue helping our students grow into thoughtful global citizens.”

The school said Dr Miller’s experience and international perspective will help strengthen its commitment to providing a world-class learning environment.
