JUMUNA to host Jahangirnagar Model United Nations 2026
The Jahangirnagar University Model United Nations Association (JUMUNA) has announced the 8th edition of Jahangirnagar Model United Nations 2026 (JMUN’26), scheduled to take place from 15 to 17 May 2026 at Jahangirnagar University.
The conference aims to bring together aspiring diplomats, policymakers and youth leaders from across the country and beyond, offering a platform for debate, diplomacy and leadership development.
This year’s theme, “Reimagining Peace, Sustainability, and Economic Stability Through Global Cooperation Towards a Climate-Resilient World,” reflects the growing need for collaborative solutions to complex global challenges.
Over the three-day event, delegates will participate in committee simulations, engage in policy discussions and draft resolutions, gaining practical experience in multilateral diplomacy.
The conference will also feature expert sessions, networking opportunities and cultural engagements designed to enhance the overall participant experience.
Organisers said the upcoming edition is expected to attract strong participation and continue JMUN’s legacy of promoting youth leadership, critical thinking and global engagement.
