North South University (NSU) campus came alive with a flashmob on 4 October as part of pre-event celebrations ahead of Pharma Fest and the International Conference on Pharmaceutical Sciences (ICPS) 2026.

The flashmob was organised to build excitement for the 20th anniversary of NSU’s Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, with Pharma Fest and ICPS 2026 scheduled to take place from 8 to 12 October at the university.

The ICPS 2026 will feature 33 speakers from 11 countries, according to the organisers.

The event brought together students through music and dance performances, highlighting student talent, creativity and teamwork while promoting the spirit of pharmacy.

The five-day celebration will feature academic, cultural and interactive activities involving students, participants and pharmacy professionals. The programme will focus on learning, competition, creativity and collaboration, organisers said.

The flashmob marked the beginning of the countdown to the main events, with the university campus preparing for the upcoming celebrations.
