Presidency University today inaugurated its “Admission Fest – Summer 2026”, formally launching the admission campaign for the upcoming academic session.

The inauguration ceremony was held at the university campus at 11:00am, where the month-long festival created a vibrant atmosphere for prospective students seeking admission for the new academic year.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Abdul Mannan Chowdhury inaugurated the Admission Fest as chief guest by cutting the ribbon.

Among others present at the programme were Principal Adviser to the Board of Trustees Professor Dr Md Anwarul Kabir, Registrar Md Sakir Hossain, Dean of the School of Engineering Professor Dr Shahidul Islam Khan, Dean of the School of Business Professor Abul Kalam, Dean of the School of Law Professor Mohammad Azharul Islam, Controller of Examinations Mohammad Jahedur Rahman, Director of Student Affairs and Admin Afroza Helen, Proctor Md Anisur Rahman, and Deputy Director and Head of the Admission and Public Relations Department Jahid Hasan.

Heads of departments, faculty members, officers, staff and students also attended the event.

As part of the Admission Fest, the university is offering a 75% waiver on admission fees along with a special 10% tuition fee scholarship. Merit-based scholarships of up to 100% will also be available for eligible students.

Newly admitted students will receive complimentary gifts, including the Presidency University flagship bag, a T-shirt and a gift box.

Throughout the festival, prospective students will have access to information-based guidance, academic counselling and career counselling to support informed decision-making regarding higher education.

Over the past 22 years, Presidency University has positioned itself as a research-focused and career-oriented higher education institution. The university said its digital classrooms, laboratory facilities, internet connectivity, student spaces and library resources continue to support the development of globally competitive graduates.
