Prime Bank hosts seminar at BUTEX on financial inclusion and youth engagement
Prime Bank PLC, in collaboration with Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX) and its Career Club, organised a seminar titled “Financial Inclusion: Engaging & Inspiring Youth in Banking” under its flagship initiative PrimeAcademia.
Deputy Managing Director and Chief Information Officer of Prime Bank PLC Syed Sazzad Haider Chowdhury delivered the keynote address, sharing insights on career development, critical decision-making and the importance of industry-aligned skillsets.
Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Liability and Women Banking Shaila Abedin highlighted ethical leadership, informed decision-making and the evolving role of women in shaping a future-ready workforce.
Senior Vice President and Head of Financial Inclusion and School Banking M M Mahbub Hasan emphasised the importance of financial literacy and money management as key pillars for building responsible and empowered youth. He also presented Prime Bank’s achievements and initiatives over its 31-year journey.
Vice-Chancellor of BUTEX Professor Dr Md Zulhash Uddin attended the programme as chief guest and underscored the importance of strengthening industry-academia collaboration.
Director of Students’ Welfare Professor Dr Md Mashiur Rahman delivered the inaugural address.
