HULT Prize at HSTU has successfully completed the HULT Prize HSTU Global Business Idea Competition On Campus Round 2022. From all the teams participating, ‘Team 3R Beans’ became the Champion.
The competition was basically divided into two rounds. The first round was the qualifying round and the second round was the final.
In the final round held on March 24, a total of 8 teams presented their idea slides in the presence of online judges. The judges selected the best team from among them. The names of the champion, runner-up, and second runner-up team were announced on Saturday, March 26, from the Hult Prize HSTU official Facebook page. The ‘Team Strive Squad’ and ‘Team Recology’ are the first and second runner-up teams respectively.
Judges of the final round were- Sheikh Farid Milon (Country Head & Project Manager, Bista Solutions Ltd.), Nasrin Naher Bithi (Assistant Professor, Department of Development Studies, HSTU), Abdullah Al Nasim (Founder & CEO, Pioneer Alpha), and Anil Parajuli (Startup and Innovation Support Expert, NEPAL Agriculture Market Development Program, SwissContact). HULT Prize HSTU 2022 program’s advisor Rony Datta, who is the associate professor of the Finance & Banking Department, HSTU, was also present at the final event.
“I couldn’t believe it when we found out we were first in the on-campus round. There is a saying that ‘Hard work always pays off, I got proof of that. Thank you to everyone and above all for organizing the HSTU Hult Prize Team in such a beautiful way.” said Sumaiya Kakon, team leader of the champion team, Team 3R BINS.

We hope that by participating in the Hult Prize competition, they will have the vivid and tremendous opportunity to develop their own leadership, management, and presentation skill as well as play an important role in resolving the most emerging global issues by creating a positive impact.”
Hult Prize is the world’s biggest Students’ movement, where 121 countries combining 2000+ Campuses take part and lead the changes including Bangladesh. Hult Prize challenges young students with their entrepreneurship ideas to solve specific major problems of the world.
The challenge of the Hult Prize in 2022 is to “Bring the world back to work by creating 2,000 jobs by 2024.” The goal is set by the international Hult Prize Foundation
