The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh hosted an information session titled “Study in Germany (Master’s & PhD)” on 2 April 2026 in collaboration with the German Academic Exchange Service and Goethe-Institut Bangladesh.
The session introduced students and aspiring researchers to higher education opportunities in Germany, covering academic programmes, scholarships, application procedures and research prospects.
Keynote speakers included Fabian Falter and Mahmudul Hasan Suman, who shared insights into Germany’s higher education system, funding opportunities and application processes.
Mayabee Arannya, PASCH Project Coordinator at Goethe-Institut Bangladesh, also attended the session, contributing to discussions on academic cooperation and cultural exchange.
The programme concluded with remarks by Jennifer Hossain, Director of the Office of International Affairs at ULAB, who highlighted the university’s commitment to expanding global academic opportunities and partnerships.
Following the session, the guests attended a working lunch with Vice-Chancellor Shamsad Mortuza and Pro-Vice-Chancellor Jude William Genilo, where discussions focused on future collaborations, student mobility and academic exchange programmes.
