According to the Economic Times, the event will take place on Sunday, June 14, at Stanford Stadium, where Sundar Pichai, who earned a Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University in 1995, will address the graduating Class of 2026.

In an official statement, Stanford described Pichai as a forward-thinking leader dedicated to solving global challenges and empowering people. This will mark his first in-person commencement speech, following his earlier virtual address during the 2020 “Dear Class of 2020” YouTube event held amid the pandemic.

Pichai expressed gratitude for the invitation, calling it a privilege to return. Reflecting on his time as a student, he said Stanford has long remained “an extraordinary place” and continues to be a global hub for talent and innovation. He added that he looks forward to celebrating the milestone moment with graduates and their families.
