Being a student of finance, I am being taught about being rational, money, investment, and how all these factors can change the world for good. But sometimes these things are achieved at the cost of morality, virtue, and the world itself. And these costs are incurred, in my opinion, from our irrational, superficial, and hasty judgment of how should we perceive the world. We are not taught the long-term consequences of how we do things, we are only taught of short-term results. I want to change how we learn things and imbue the purpose of why we were created; to live harmoniously, collaboratively, and preserve and sustain knowledge to pass them on. The change I want to see in this world is not an individual task but the acknowledgment that we are astray of what we could have been and the drive towards what we should be is the way to achieving a world we all want to live in.

There is a lot of negativity around us. I want to spread positivity for society as well as the whole world. A smile can win lots of hearts. Everyone should make positive thinking. Because it will give the key to success. Peace will prevail if positivity can be ensured everywhere. Spread positivity! Be Happy!

The thing I want to do for the world is share positivity. I want to inspire people with wonder, beauty, and compassion in the world. I want to find good news in our daily life and share them among people.

The future is uncertain, yet changing it is inevitable. Shaping the world where we can predict the possibilities of newer opportunities and threats should be our prime concern. I inherit this ideology of hoping for better, prepared for worse. For this, I believe in human resources and investing in them. So we really need to think of a society where we can witness no unemployment, which will lead to no hunger and better healthcare. If we can give value to the time, labor and effort of all beings out there, it is possible for all of us to make a sustainable future for the next generation. To make it happen, we need to ensure a proper spread of education and training for all youths. I want to see a world where people won’t live under the poverty line, where they don’t have to be malnourished, jobless or victims of income inequality.

Minhazul Muntakim Shishir

How would you feel if you starved for a day? That’s how most of the poor people feel who can’t afford a meal for several days. Every day many people die from hunger. People under the poverty line often sleep with empty stomachs. According to the “UN World Food Program’s live Hunger Map,” worldwide, 957 million people cannot afford enough food regularly.(World Hunger Facts: World Food Shortage 2021 – Embrace Relief Foundation, n.d.). Therefore, I want to eliminate ‘food waste’ from the world and change the food-wasting habit of people. Instead of wasting, if the privileged people start giving their leftover food to the needy, the world would be much nicer. I believe, if we adopt several measures such as buying only the required amount of food, not storing excess food, adopting a more sustainable diet, etc. Also, I want to establish an NGO that will prevent food wastage and make sure the unprivileged people get enough food for their survival, at least in my surroundings. Food is a blessing; we should consume it respectfully and stop wasting it.

My aim in life is to become a teacher. I want to change the method of teaching, where the students will not be forced to learn for better grades only, rather they will know the importance of learning the materials to be taught, they will know the real-life implementation of their learning for each topic so that they will be motivated to learn.

I want to make this world eco-friendly enough. And in order to do that, we should all work together.

Our world is facing a severe crisis of poverty and unemployment along with climate issues. Poverty and unemployment are correlated to each other and by fixing this problem we can level up the quality of life and achieve a population that cares about environmental sustainability. So, for now, I want to focus on solving the problem of poverty and unemployment. I want to bring changes in the social-economic development phase of the world by empowering our young generation with diversified employability skills and leadership actions compatible with SDGs. Every human being is born with a purpose and to achieve that goal, we must show them the way to harness their inner potential. That can only be done by pushing them towards self-development to enrich them with the skills required to compete in the 21st century. I want to reach the young generation to familiarize them with IT, business fundamentals while developing their cognitive skills and public speaking capabilities. Lastly, the young generation must be familiar with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to accept the role of being a responsible citizen of this world.

I want to share positivity with my fellow ones. I always try to share positive posts through my social media to inspire everyone and decrease toxicity and hatred.

Md Kawshar Jahan Fakir

I want to bring one change to the world and it is “establishing a positive world by removing negativity”. But in the world of negativity, spreading positivity is not easy. That’s why I will take some actions, such as ensuring education in Bangladesh and world, spreading kindness within the community. Besides, I will use social media and some voluntary organizations all over the world to help me as if I can do my work properly. Although I will start too small, after getting community and help of people day by day I will expand it. I hope, if people stay with me and help me, I can do it properly.

Shahana Anam

If I’ve to specify a change which I want to bring to the world, It will be a world with zero mental health problems and suicide. As I’m an ordinary person, changing the whole world is a kind of daydream for me. But my father always tells me this quote” Be the change you want to see in the world”. So I always try to give people emotional support, and if I can’t I try not to be responsible for their emotional distress.

Umme Ayman

Proper education can change the world. Education, in the real sense of the world, is not only what we learn in school or colleges. In the future, I want to be a Teacher. When I close my eyes, I picture myself in a school, teaching a classroom of diverse yet alike students. Education has always been my priority. My ultimate goal is to change the lives of people through education.
