The government has published the results of the 2025 Primary Scholarship Examination, with 79,246 students receiving scholarships under the Talent Pool and General categories. The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education announced the results at a press briefing today (12 July).

A total of 78,810 schools participated in this year’s examination. Of the 645,041 registered candidates, 419,982 students sat for the exam.

The ministry had planned to award 82,500 scholarships, including 33,000 under the Talent Pool category and 49,500 under the General category.

According to the final results, 79,246 students received scholarships. Of them, 32,965 secured Talent Pool scholarships, while 46,281 received General scholarships.

Among the Talent Pool recipients, 26,375 students are from government primary schools and 6,590 from non-government primary schools. In the General category, 36,420 recipients are from government primary schools and 9,861 from non-government primary schools.

This year’s scholarship recipients include 35,892 boys and 43,354 girls.

Students can access their results online, by SMS or through the Directorate of Primary Education’s website.

To receive results by SMS, students need to type DPE, leave a space, enter their roll number and send the message to 16222 from any mobile operator. The result will be sent in a reply SMS.

Students can also check their results through the Directorate of Primary Education’s IPEMIS website by selecting the Primary Scholarship Examination option and entering their roll number, district and upazila.

The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education said the Primary Scholarship Examination is intended to assess students’ merit, recognise their achievements and encourage educational institutions.
