Jagannath University (JnU) has opened online registration for its second convocation, scheduled for 30 January 2027.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Rais Uddin inaugurated the registration process at his conference room on the university campus on Thursday (15 october), according to a press release.

Eligible graduates can register online from 15 october until 11:59pm on 20 November 2026 through the university’s designated convocation website.

The vice-chancellor said the President of Bangladesh, who serves as the university’s chancellor, had consented to hold the long-awaited convocation on 30 January 2027.

“Various activities are currently underway to this end. As part of the process, the online registration for the convocation begins today, which is a matter of great joy for us,” he said.

JnU Treasurer Professor Dr Sabina Sharmin also spoke at the inauguration, while Registrar Professor Dr Md Sheikh Gias Uddin, convener of the online registration subcommittee, conducted the programme.
