Area Manager

Job Purpose:

  • Area Manager is responsible for distribution and sales of a specific geography
  • Area Manager is accountable for driving sales and revenue growth within his area

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead and manager a team of Territory Officers, Territory Managers and Sales Managers within their designated area. This includes training, developing and supervising to ensure they meet performance targets and deliver company goals
  • Attain area sales target by ensuring proper distribution of products & services and build robust retail channel across the geography
  • Effective partner (distributor & key retail) onboarding ensures that these partners understand company’s products, services, policies, and expectations, and it sets the foundation for a successful partnership
  • Create sales plans and forecasts for the area. This includes setting targets, quotas, and budgets and tracking progress against these goals
  • Monitor market trends, competition, and customer preferences within the area. Use this information to make data-driven decisions and adjust strategies as needed
  • Ensure that the sales team complies with company policies and regulations. Provide accurate and timely sales data and reports as required

Academic Qualification: Minimum Graduation

Skills required:

  • 6-7 years of work-experience in the Sales & Distribution of a reputed multinational company
  • In-depth knowledge on current market scenario & business sales and services management of telecommunication
  • Strong understanding of insights and analytical skill
  • Proactive, Articulated, Motivated, Organized, a Self-starter as a Team Player
  • Strong capability for interdepartmental coordination
