Assistant Officer | SOS Children’s Village

Position: Assistant Officer / Finance & Accounts

Responsibilities & Context

  • Handle petty cash, bank transactions, and maintain cheque register.
  • Prepare the bank book and cash book, enter data into D365 ERP software, and generate vouchers from the system.
  • Prepare monthly payroll and pay slips and disburse salaries and allowances to co-workers.
  • Prepare documents related to applicable VAT & Tax deduction and ensure deposit the same to the Govt. Exchequer.
  • Prepare NGOAB-related documents, annual budgets, and monthly budget variance reports.
  • Maintain all registers related to finance and accounts.
  • Support the purchase and sales committees in preparing comparative statements and addressing compliance issues.
  • Prepare documents and reports for external auditors and government compliance purposes.

Education: Post-graduate in Commerce from a Govt. recognized University, At least 2nd Division / Class or equivalent result in all public examinations.

Additional Requirements:

  • Working experience with any Accounting Software will be preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Good communication skills, proactive, team player and capability to work under pressure.
