BRAC Bank seeks an ambitious, intelligent, purpose-driven, and enthusiastic individual for the following position in its Corporate & Institutional Banking Division.

Position: Associate Relationship Manager (Corporate & Institutional Banking Division)

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct and ensure account transactions comply with account operation instruction, transaction guideline, call confirmation, and backed by customer indemnity to protect the bank from risks such as money laundering, mis-selling, misrepresentation, fraud, and other legal and regulatory issues
  • Maintain communication with customers for smooth account transactions and required information
  • Assist RM & SRM in proposal preparation through summarising financials, CIB, and other required information
  • Assist RM & SRM in conducting timely CDD, high risk, CTR, transaction monitoring, trade CDD, sanction screening, etc., to ensure compliance with AML & TF guidelines
  • Follow up with RM & SRM to ensure timely renewal of credit facilities, insurance policies, credit ratings, trade licences, IRC, ERC, fire licences, factory licences, DOE clearance, tax clearance, and other regulatory documents requiring periodic renewal for business continuity
  • Communicate and follow up with branch, trade, credit, treasury, and other concerned departments to ensure timely completion of transactions
  • Keep credit files updated with all required documents, including the latest copies of approvals and other relevant papers; address any document shortfalls by obtaining them from customers through discussions with RM & SRM
  • Maintain professionalism and uphold ethical standards throughout the service, as expected by the bank
  • Monitor accounts and report any operational and credit risks to the line manager for further action
  • Ensure customer compliance with credit policy, regulatory requirements, and covenants & conditions advised in the sanction letter
  • Engage in other roles and responsibilities as required by the Corporate & Institutional Banking Division

Requirements
Education: Post-graduation/Graduation from a reputed UGC-approved university
Experience: At least 3 years

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in banks and financial institutions
  • Knowledge of credit norms, financial analysis, trade products, and necessary industry insights in the corporate segment
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and target-oriented
  • Strong interpersonal communication, presentation, negotiation, and persuasion skills
  • Knowledge of effective written and oral communication in English and Bangla
  • Customer-centric, self-propelled, and capable of meeting deadlines
