Content Writer

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position may include but not limited to:

  • Manage all write ups for marketing purposes.
  • Produce high-quality written content (English and Bengali) for various platforms including websites, blogs, social media, email newsletters, brochures, press releases, and
  • promotional materials.
  • Review and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to university style guidelines. Proofread content for grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • errors. Grammar, punctuation, word choice, and spelling of all press releases, articles, blog posts, captions etc.
  • Construct efficient captions for social media and list of hashtags to maximize outreach on social media without paid promotions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in content marketing, digital media, and higher education communications.

Educational & Job Requirements

  • 4 years of Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating diverse writing styles, including web content, press releases, articles, and social media posts.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a focus on clarity, creativity, and audience engagement.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in professional writing, preferably in the field of communications, marketing, or journalism.
