Position: Customer Service Officer (Assistant Officer), Cash Area, Branch and Sub Branch
Requirements
Education: Fresh business graduate with CGPA of 3.00 or above.
Experience
- 1 to 2 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks
- Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Additional Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role at a reputed bank (optional).
- Willingness to work anywhere in Bangladesh.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with adequate computer literacy.
- Proactive team player, positive mindset and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to learn quickly in-depth product and service related knowledge.
- Compliant with Bangladesh Bank policies, AML regulations, and directives on Money Laundering prevention.
Prime Responsibilities
- Swift and accurate cash transactions at cash counter, ensuring correct denominations.
- Comply with note sorting rules, AML policies, and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist in cash and vault management, including cash till balancing, note sorting, and report checking.
- Achieve financial targets (Assets, Liabilities, Cards, New Accounts) set by the bank.
- Manage ATM booth, including cash loading, unloading, and reconciliation.
- Hold vault key in the absence of the Cash In-Charge.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service in the cash area.
- Maintain adequate stock of forms and brochures in the cash area.
- Accurately display fake note warnings, deposit, and exchange rate information.
- Manage queues, ensure security, and maintain cleanliness in the cash area.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and bank information.
Job Location: At any branch or sub branch located in Bangladesh
Compensation & Other Benefits
- Monthly gross salary of BDT. 36,000 during probation period (probation period is minimum 6 months)
- After successful completion of probation period, monthly salary will become BDT. 45,000
- Other admissible benefits as per People Management Policy of EBL.
