General Manager, Supply Chain Management | SMC Enterprise Ltd.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Formulating Supply Chain strategies: Operational (1 year) and Strategic Planning (3 years).
  • Ensure supply chain continuity sustaining price competitiveness & quality improvement across the value the chain related to raw material & logistics.
  • Lead SCM Division and collaboration with other functions.
  • Internal & external stakeholder management.
  • New Vendor Development to sustain price competitiveness & quality improvement.
  • Any other business assigned by the management.

Requirements

Education: Master’s degree in any discipline; MBA will be an added advantage.

Experience: At least 15 years

Additional Requirements: At least 15 years of experience with 7 years in leading SCM Division.

Functional Skills   

  • Strategic negotiation        
  • Procurement process management (commercial, import, strategic sourcing, demand planning etc.)

  • Proficiency in both English and Bengali communication
