Head of Retail Sales | Shanta Asset Management

Shanta Asset Management is looking for a dynamic Head of Retail Sales to lead and drive sales performance. The role involves achieving SIP and Lumpsum sales targets, managing relationships with investors & Independent Financial Advisors (IFA), and developing sales strategies to maximize profitability. The Head of Retail Sales will also oversee promotional events, monitor market trends, and mentor the sales team to ensure high performance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key to executing strategic initiatives for market expansion and revenue growth.

Key Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the fund collection process and ensure achievement of SIP and Lumpsum team sales targets.
  • Guide and mentor the sales team, providing training and leadership to enhance performance and skills.
  • Develop and implement strategies for maximizing organization’s profitability, aligning with overall business objectives.
  • Manage relationships with Independent Financial Advisors to drive business growth and meet organizational goals.
  • Organize and coordinate roadshows and promotional events to strengthen brand presence and expand market reach.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the company’s strategic initiatives for market expansion and revenue generation.
  • Foster strong customer relationships to ensure high satisfaction and long-term business success.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies and seize new opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies through accurate documentation and reporting.

Qualifications Required: Masters

Experience: 8 to 12 years, The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks,Investment/Merchant Banking.

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 8 – 12 years in sales management, preferably in Banks or Non-Banking Financial Institutions, Asset Management companies.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a sales team, setting goals, managing performance, and delivering results.
  • Strong track record in achieving sales targets, with a deep understanding of fund collection strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with Independent Advisors, investors, and stakeholders.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing sales strategies that align with business objectives and maximize profitability.
  • Experience organizing and managing roadshows, promotional events, or similar initiatives to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
  • Solid understanding of market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior, with the ability to adjust strategies to capitalize on opportunities.
  • Strong ability to analyze market data, competitor performance, and sales metrics to inform strategic decisions.
