Innovation Grants Officer | JAAGO Foundation Trust

Vacancy: 02

Job Context
About the Project: JAAGO Foundation, in partnership with CARE and funded by USAID, is implementing the Bijoyee Activity, aiming to contribute to more effective, inclusive, locally-led development by and with Bangladeshi youth – particularly young women and socially excluded young people – as core participants and decision-makers. The project is expected to run for five years (August 2023 to July 2028). It aims to empower young people in Bangladesh to reach their full potential through life skills training, employment opportunities, civic awareness, resilience to anti-democratic and violent extremist values, and improved marketability and employability. To capacitate youth-led/serving organizations, the project will issue small grants to YLOs. The Innovation Grant Officer will be a pivotal team member within the Bijoyee Activity, overseeing the grant application process, evaluating proposals, and selecting grant recipients.
