The SIMT Engineering College under University of Dhaka is looking for competent faculty members for the position of Lecturer of Math.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematics
Master of Science (MSc) in Mathematics
Candidates must have obtained first class or CGPA minimum 3.00 in Math with GPA/CGPA minimum 4.25 out of 5.00 scale in SSC and HSC examination.
Graduate from Public University will get Preference.

Experience

2 to 3 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): University, College
Freshers are also encouraged to apply.

Additional Requirements

Age 25 to 32 years
Teaching/ Training, Education Administration/ Management, Education Counseling, Curriculum/ Program Development, TOT (Training of Teachers)
Candidate must be good at communication and must have adequate knowledge in producing all sorts of reports and presentations
Candidate should be able to function effectively independently as well as in groups
Ability to work on tight schedule and must be able to meet the deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint

Responsibilities

To participate actively in teaching using innovative pedagogical styles linked with use of information technology.
To take responsibility for the development and delivery of learning, teaching materials, and assessment.
To ensure that students have an effective learning experience by providing high quality academic guidance.
To undertake professional development in support of teaching and applied research, and if appropriate in support of student welfare and curriculum management.
