Position: Manager, Project Development and Analysis, Road Safety Programme
Requirements
Education: Bachelor degree from any recognized institution/ university (preferably in Social Science/Development Studies/Public Policy/BBA/Management/Economics/B.Sc Engineer)
Experience: At least 3 years
Additional Requirements
- At least 03 years of experience in a comparable position in INGO/NGOs.
- In-depth knowledge on writing project proposal and reports.
- Ability to work in very organized manner with high level skill in planning, 2.
- Interpersonal communication, analysis any issue in various way.
- Presentation and coordination.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with colleagues
- Computer literacy
- Demonstrate commitment and sensitivity to gender and diversity issues
Location: Head Office
Key Responsibilities
- Develop project proposals, concept notes ensuring high quality standard meeting donor and development partners’ requirements.
- Regularly monitor donor websites and identify donor opportunities that align with the work of the programme.
- Conduct independent research on potential donor/partners, foundation & corporations, finding a match with partners whose philanthropic or funding criteria match the organization’s vision and activities.
- Identify and communicate potential new areas of program design according to the programmatic strategy.
- Compile and maintain a database of international and local donor organizations( international foundation, bilateral and multilateral agencies and corporations)
- Lead the program design workshop
- Develop & maintain all proposal tracking documentation as required.
- Under the guidance of the Head and Director Road Safety Programme and in consultation with teams, assist in updating and monitoring the strategy.
- Develop log frame for projects.
- Prepare budget for project and analyze head wise expenditure.
- Write project inception, progress, completion and other relevant report
- Prepare FD-6, FD-2, FC-2 etc. documents required for NGOAB approval
- Support BDS development activities, marketing and report preparation.
- Liaise with other programs, identify areas of cooperation and develop joint projects.
SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
