Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Human Resource Management, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Education, or any other relevant subject from any reputed university/institute
Experience
- At least 5 years

Responsibilities & Context
- This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies for the capacity building of HCMP staff. This includes conducting training needs assessments, developing training curricula, designing, and facilitating seminars and learning-sharing forums. The position will also develop training modules and incorporate various training tools to enhance the capacity of HCMP staff. Additionally, this role is responsible for fostering the development of new knowledge, skills, attitudes, systems, and structures required for effective functioning, sustainability, and achieving organizational goals.
- Develop a comprehensive capacity-strengthening strategy aligned with the organisation’s mission and goals.
- Identify capacity gaps and needs through assessments and analysis.
- Design, develop and facilitate training programmes, workshops, and learning resources.
- Design and implement capacity-building modules and initiatives tailored to the organisation’s needs.
- Collaborate with sector/unit heads and stakeholders to ensure capacity development efforts align with departmental and organisational objectives.
- Manage budgets and other resources required for capacity-strengthening initiatives.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and evaluation frameworks to assess the impact of capacity-strengthening efforts.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, partners, and donors, to coordinate capacity-strengthening activities.
- Ensure capacity-strengthening initiatives comply with relevant policies and regulations of BRAC.
- Develop strategies to capture and transfer institutional knowledge and expertise within the organisation.
- Focus on creating sustainable capacity development programs that continue to deliver benefits over time.
- Contribute to funding and partnerships to support ongoing capacity-strengthening efforts.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management and stakeholders on the progress and impact of capacity development efforts.
- Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation, and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA), to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.-
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident occurs and encourage others to do so.
