Responsibilities & Context

Shelter Home Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure a safe, hygienic, and supportive environment for residents.
  • Ensure compliance with child protection policies and local shelter regulations.
  • Coordinate health, counseling, and recreational services for children.
  • Monitor attendance, discipline, and welfare of residents.
  • Engage families where applicable and facilitate reintegration when possible.

Education Program Responsibilities (Formal Education):

  • Coordinate with schools and educational institutions to enroll and track children’s academic progress.
  • Organize remedial classes, tutoring, and extracurricular learning programs.
  • Monitor teacher performance and support educational staff development.
  • Distribute educational materials and ensure access to learning aids.
  • Work with parents/guardians to support students’ education and attendance.

Madarasha Education Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate religious education classes and curriculum delivery.
  • Ensure qualified religious educators (Alims/Alimas) are appointed and supported.
  • Monitor the integration of moral and ethical teachings in daily routines.
  • Maintain respect for religious and cultural diversity among students and staff.
  • Promote harmony between formal and religious education streams.

Qualifications Required: MA/MSS/MBA, Fazil/Takmil/Kamil (Mawlana/Mufti)

Experience: At least 5 years, The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO.

Additional Requirements

  • Age 35 to 50 years

Key Competencies:

  • Project management and multitasking ability Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Responsible for overseeing all project activities in the project area.
  • Ensuring program management and financial management function collaboratively and in compliance with accepted standards.
  • Ensure timely implementation of the project activities as defined by the work plan.
  • Responsible for overseeing the development and execution of project deliverables, lead project planning, and mentoring, budgeting, action plans, and monitoring processes, etc.
  • Conduct assessment of the requirements of various communication materials, considering different target groups.
  • Assist the project team and other stakeholders in defining, communicating, and driving the strategic vision and goal of the program.
  • Troubleshoot project problems, launch initiatives to reduce operational costs and defects, and identify and implement creative solutions for smooth project management.
  • Supervise all the other project staff, including community mobilizers, through maintaining regular communication with the project staff and conducting regular field visits.
  • Provide support and monitor the implementation of project activities according to the work plan and scheduled timeline.
  • Maintain liaison with the funding partners and head office of the MASTUL Foundation for successful implementation of the project activities.
  • Planning, initiating, and reviewing external communication to promote project activities on various platforms.
  • Assist the finance and admin officer to prepare monthly financial reports through matching activities implemented.
  • Prepare documents of all events, program learning, processes, and impacts of the project, which should be sent to the central program team.

Additional Requirement:

  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn and excellent time management skills.
  • Candidates from an NGO background is preferred.
