Programme Manager
The organisation
WildTeam’s vision is a future with more wildlife to enrich people’s lives and more wild places for the magnificent diversity of life on earth. Our mission is to carry out activities to improve the conservation status of key species and habitats in Bangladesh, and to develop partnerships, tools, and platforms to build the capacity of organisations and individuals to carry out effective conservation. Since 2008, WildTeam has worked predominantly in the Sundarbans mangrove forest ecosystem, home to the Royal Bengal Tiger: a flagship species for the ecosystem and symbol of pride for Bangladesh. Here the goal of our TigerTeam work is to see a Sundarbans packed full of tigers, as an indicator of health of the whole ecosystem and its ability to provide benefits to people, climate and nature. To reach this goal we have three key work areas: Social change, Living with Tigers, and Wild Science. WildTeam is a non-profit organisation head-quartered in Dhaka, with Sundarbans offices in Khulna, Sarankhola, Mongla and Satkhira range. For more information, visit www.wildteam.org.bd.

The successful candidate must be an expert programme manager with a proven record of successful delivery of conservation programmes and their projects. WildTeam is a small, nimble team, and the successful candidate will be passionate about the work of small and medium non-profit organisations, rather a “project worker”, and able to work at the strategic planning level as well as being a hands-on manager and doer.
